Power in Partnership

HealthEC is proud to partner with Labcorp, a collaboration that extends beyond value-based care into multiple healthcare areas, including oncology and oncology registries.

With Labcorp’s support, we’re able to navigate the complexities of healthcare, gaining valuable insights that benefit both patients and providers. Hear from our CEO, Chris Caramanico, on the positive impact of this partnership.

How does HealthEC’s partnership with Labcorp benefit healthcare providers and patients, particularly in value-based care and oncology?

Enhancing Oncology Module

Partnering with Labcorp’s Data and Oncology teams, we guide providers in value-based oncology, creating custom reports to monitor metrics like network leakage.

Cost-Effective Care

Labcorp’s provider network aims to deliver cost-effective care, though practices sometimes deviate from contracts. Our telemetry system identifies areas not meeting plan goals, helping reduce costs and ensure high-quality, timely care.

Digital Data Integration

Despite healthcare’s digitization, many providers still receive lab results in PDF or “virtual paper” formats from hospitals. Labcorp, however, provides results as digital data.

Seamless EMR Integration

Lab results from Labcorp are immediately integrated into electronic medical records, triggering alerts and closing care gaps through our analytics system.

Optimizing Value-Based Care Contracts

Our partnership with Labcorp boosts efficiency, improves care quality, and makes value-based care management more effective.

How does HealthEC make healthcare data actionable for providers through its partnership with Labcorp?

Our focus is making data actionable by delivering the right information to the right person at the right time. By digitizing data like blood tests or genomic results, our partnership with Labcorp enables faster insights and alerts, helping providers make informed decisions at the point of care. We’re grateful for this growing collaboration that brings valuable insights directly to providers.

How is HealthEC collaborating with Labcorp to improve access to healthcare for remote patients and enhance the efficiency of test result processing?

Home Test Kits

Patients, especially in remote areas, can receive home test kits (e.g., for A1C), collect samples, and mail them to Labcorp. The results are then digitized and updated in the patient’s electronic medical record.

Self-Scheduling

Labcorp provides self-scheduling options at over 2,500 patient service centers nationwide, making it easier for patients to access care.

Improved Care and Efficiency

These technologies help us, in partnership with Labcorp, to improve care quality, reduce costs, and deliver timely digital results where they’re needed most.

How does HealthEC’s partnership with Labcorp support value-based care providers, and what unique offerings are available to introduce new providers to both companies?

With our close partnership with Labcorp, we have a dedicated resource working with their team on value-based care and oncology. One unique offering for Labcorp’s sales team is a “try-before-you-buy” option. For Medicare-based programs, we convert a CCLF file (with patient data and costs) into a provider dashboard and network leakage report within weeks, providing actionable insights. This lead product introduces Labcorp and HealthEC to new providers, expanding market share and driving growth.

How can HealthEC support Labcorp’s sales for new and existing clients, and who should I contact?

We see this as two key strategies: first, supporting LabCorp’s new business ventures by adding HealthEC’s value to attract new clients for lab testing. Second, strengthening relationships with existing clients by making HealthEC’s impact even more integral.
