HealthEC Pushes PHM Forward with Recognition from KLAS, Gartner and Others

2020 was a year unlike any other, posing unparalleled challenges to the healthcare industry. If there was ever a time to focus on the importance of population health management, this was it. HealthEC rose to the challenge. And in the process, the company earned accolades from four of the industry’s leading voices: KLAS®, Chilmark, Black Book, and Gartner. Additionally, HealthEC took home top honors from the CIO 100, Indian Achievers’, and American Business Awards®.

HealthEC received an overall score of 91.9 for the 2021 Best in the KLAS Software & Professional Services Report for PHM services, with high performance in the areas of risk scoring and prioritized worklists. Users praised HealthEC for the ability to “spend time up front customizing dashboards to specific end users’ needs to help them prioritize their workflows.” In addition, users appreciated HealthEC’s “deep understanding of customer’s revenue models.”

KLAS also recognized HealthEC for going above and beyond in the six areas of customer experience: culture, loyalty, operations, product, relationship, and value.

Chilmark, a global research and advisory firm that is solely focused on IT solutions, featured HealthEC in their 2020 Market Scan report titled “Addressing SDoH: IT Solutions To Engage Community Resources.” HealthEC was one of seven vendors Chilmark selected in their list of community resource management solutions based on the following criteria:

•Provides healthcare providers with awareness of community resources and their capabilities
•Helps providers facilitate patients’ referrals with relevant-community resources through communication or easy enrollment
•Manages and coordinates care provided by those community resources with care provided in traditional healthcare settings

Black Book
Medicaid Black Book, published by Mostly Medicaid, is a premier subscription service that highlights solution vendors in the Health and Human Services (HHS) space. Medicaid Black Book awarded HealthEC with a five-out-of-five-star rating in an overall assessment for Medicaid effectiveness.

Medicaid Black Book’s vendor evaluations are meant to provide a holistic approach to a wide range of potential vendors for Medicaid health plans. The team conducts over 55 analyses to arrive at the results to ensure the best possible partners are chosen. HealthEC is one of approximately four vendors with a perfect score.

Founded in 1979, Gartner has been the leading research and advisory company for 42 years. HealthEC was featured in Gartner’s Market Guide for Healthcare Provider Solutions 2020 Update: Moving to Connected Care. The report focused on 19 representative vendors who are doing their part to:

• Identify and target important populations
• Proactively treat those patients with integrated and informed tools
• Engage patients in their health and wellness
• Evaluate and improve both clinical and financial outcomes

CIO 100
The US CIO 100 Awards recognizes 100 organizations for their advancements in technology innovation. The panel of judges, many of them former CIOs, choose winners based on leading-edge IT practices that gain measurable results. HealthEC made the list based on their submission titled “Measurable Outcomes in Healthcare Using AI.” HealthEC was recognized at the annual CIO 100 Symposium & Awards Ceremony held virtually August 17-19, 2021.

Indian Achievers’ and American Business Awards

All organizations—public and private, for-profit, and non-profit, large and small, are open to submit nominations. Winners will be recognized in a virtual ceremony on June 30th.
